During the early years of world squash body formed in 1967, the International Squash Rackets Federation (ISRF), now WSF, was felt to be male-centric and that a women’s international federation was needed to manage women’s championships and promote female squash. So, in 1979 a Women’s ISRF was constituted …… before these activities were re-integrated as part of the ISRF six years later.
