STORY

While squash looks forward, new generations enjoy our great sport, and new champions are crowned on the latest club and showcourts, we have a long heritage too. One that stretches back to the 1850’s.

The World Squash Library has been initiated as an independent ‘not-for-profit’ organisation to ensure that the books, magazines, championship programmes and other information can be brought together in one place to be freely available for current players, media, Federations, students – anybody who wants information on the long or near past. Equally importantly for future generations too.

This can be via Email (using the Email address, below), through the items that will be digitalised, or even in person.

Spotlights and features will be added to the site regularly.

WSL can never be complete, but over the coming years we will be getting as close as possible!

1982 Lookers Men’s Player Profiles

There was a period before the men’s tour broadened when England would feature major events such as Stockton and Chichester leading up to the British Open. Another was the Lookers Masters in the North West of England.
