

The First Squash-specific book
When Eustace Miles wrote his book – the very first squash-specific one – in 1901, it was described as ‘a practical handbook to English squash-rackets and American squash-tennis’.
The Library has reproduced a few photos to illustrate how teaching was done before evolving into the ‘open skills’ system that is used today.
